Hi y'all.
Peggy messaged me on facebook and said she's going to be absent everywhere but there for the next few months. Facebook is the best way to keep her family up-to-date on her progress. She plans to finish chemo in January and be back to normal, then.
She asked me to let y'all know, so those of you who aren't into facebook won't wonder about her. I'll try to remember to give you updates as I see them on facebook.

Here's Peggy's most recent status update: "I just finished chemo, round 4. Uneventful with no scarey reactions. Took my nausea meds a few minutes ago so I'm off to Nap City. Those "May make you drowsy" labels means I'll sleep for hours." She's still keeping a positive attitude, and shared a BUNCH of tasty looking recipes, lately.

Latest from Peggy, as of this morning: "I'm on a roll. 3 days in a row of feeling good. I'm sure it's prayers being answered and I'm so thankful for everyone of them. God bless you all."
God is so good!

Peggy updated her status this morning: "It's a brisk 37 degrees outside. My hot tea didn't taste funny this morning. I found that to be so when I use loose tea instead of tea bags. Reckon I'd better order me some more. The doctor said I should push myself to do as much as I was doing before all this stuff happened. He just forgot to say to not try to do it all in one day. Silly me. So my goal of putting 10lbs of green tomato pickles on to soak is accomplished. Might even muster up the energy to get Haileysmeemo cheesecake baked Y'all have a good day and God bless."

Peggy's had six chemo's now. If I'm counting right, that should make her 1/3 of the way done! Here's her recent status update: "I woke up with more energy than usual so I'm goin to push like the doctor said. I mixed up a huge pot of chili to can. Paul likes chili real soupy so I can it up real thick and then add a qt of tomatoes when we need a meal. Otherwise I'd have to open 2 jars to feed these hogs. I just hope this energy hold up for the 90 min it takes to process. BTW a pox on the doctors bright idea of pushing myself. It takes energy to push anything. I'll take his advise after he starts chemo." I'm thinking she might have edited and added that last bit.

This from Peggy this afternoon: "Chemo #7 is history. No complications. I get to skip next week because of the holiday. Now for a nice long Benedryl induced nap." Praise the Lord!!!
