I put ginger in it. I would have put nutmeg, like the recipe said, but I was out of it. I usually follow the recipe the first time I make it. I have some now, but too late for this batch.

Sure I have! I've tried it every day since I started it. Since it started fermenting, it has gotten more tart. I imagine that's from the sugar being used as food for the fermentation process. When it quits fermenting, I am going to add a little more sugar and wait a few days to see if that fixes it or if it starts the fermentation all over again.

I added more sugar last week. It's pretty good and quite alcoholic. I'm waiting for it to clear, then I'll siphon and bottle it.
I'm thinking of trying it again, but with plain homemade lemonade and see what happens.
