So far I've had 70% germination on the Choctaw Sweet Potato Squash. I don't remember how many Seminole Pumpkins I planted. It was either 6 or 8. Two came up this morning! I'm excited!

I was mistaken! We had 80% germination on the choctaw sweet potato squash, but a slug ate one.
100% germination on the seminole pumpkins!

Hey, Susan, on the Seminole pumpkins, are they supposed to get like silvery patches on the leaves? Mine are, but I didn't know if that was a good thing or bad. They're coming along really good!

I think they did. I remember thinking, 'oh no, powdery mildew', but it didn't look the same and they grew fine. So I think it's just that plant and how the leaves look.

OK, I just went and looked it up, but couldn't seem to get a link to post. Anyway, the leaves do get a silvery lacy look to them that is normal.
