My experiment for today. I'll be making it this way from now on.
Alfredo Sauce
1 T. butter 1 t. minced garlic (about 1 clove) 1 1/2 cups milk black pepper and/or thyme (optional, to taste) 2 T. grated Parmesan cheese (like Kraft) - or more to taste and to thicken
Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in garlic and cook for about a minute (until fragrant). Add milk and heat to boiling. Stir in black pepper and/or thyme, if using. Whisk in Parmesan cheese and cook for a bit more to thicken (add more cheese, if necessary). Serve hot over noodles, meat, or whatever you like.
