2-Ingredient Pizza Dough
1 cup plain yogurt 1 - 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
Put a pizza stone or inverted baking sheet on the center rack of the oven and turn heat to 475°F. In a large bowl, mix together the greek yogurt and 1 cup of the flour. Continue adding flour until dough comes together and is no longer sticky. If using an electric mixer, knead dough with dough hook for 5 minutes. If making by hand, transfer dough to a floured surface and knead until dough is smooth and elastic, about 5-8 minutes. Roll out dough and top with sauce, cheese, and favorite toppings. Bake until crust is golden brown, 8-10 minutes. Yields 1-2 crusts. Note: you can roll dough out and bake on parchment paper to make transferring easier.

Hello Gayle! I haven't been on here in years and was surprised I could still log in. I saw this recipe online elsewhere and wondered if it really makes a decent pizza crust. What is your experience with this?

Hi, Patty! Funny you should pop in; I was just looking at your profile yesterday to see if your real name was on it so I could check if you were on Facebook. I was going to send you a friend request if I could find you. If you are and want to send me a friend request, here is the link to my profile~ www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100006309600545This isn't a standard pizza crust, but it's not bad if you want pizza and you want it quick. It's about halfway between regular bread dough and biscuits. I like having it as an option since I always have the ingredients and it's fast.

I will have to try this soon! Self Rising flour isn't always available up here in the north, but I know where I can find some in another town. I usually do have yogurt on hand. This sounds like it would be a nice quick idea for a weekend lunch. I wrote you a message, so check your forum inbox!

You can make your own self-rising flour, if you'd like.
In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1-1/2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Make sure the ingredients are evenly distributed.
Off to check my messages.
