Window Cleaner
This cleans as well as Windex, without leaving residue on the glass, which attracts dirt.
Using a quart-sized spray bottle, fill it about 3/4 full of water. Add about an ounce or two of vinegar and fill the bottle with alcohol (I use wintergreen). Put the lid on and aggitate a bit to mix ingredients.
Label bottle so you remember what's in it.
Note: For extra sparkle, add a few drops of laundry bluing.

I always add to posts of any window cleaner that has alcohol in it.............. do NOT allow it to get on the back of the mirror as it will eat the silver off. This is why you have mirrors with nasty spots and the bottoms that have areas that have been damaged because of this. My brother the "glass man" told me this several years ago when I wanted to make my own.

He's right. Even Windex has alcohol in it and can damage mirrors if you get it on the back.
