Granddad's Chili-Revamped contributed by riverwalk
2 lbs ground beef 1 cube vegetable boullion 1 large onion 3 cans chili beans 4 cloves garlic 2 bay leaves 1 Tbsp salt 2 tsp sugar 1 tsp white pepper 1 pepper corn 1/2 tsp paprika 1 Tbsp chili powder 1 tsp cumin 2 Tbsp lemon juice 1/2 tsp mace 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce Dash of basil
Dice onion and gently brown with beef. Place in crockpot or large pot on stove top. Mince garlic cloves and add to beef and onion mixture. Add all the other ingrediants. Place on medium-high until boiling, then lower to simmer and cook for about one hour.
If crock-potting, turn crockpot on med-high heat; chili will be ready after about two hours, (or you can let in cook on low all day).
Serve with corn bread.
