1 pound smoked sausage, sliced 1 cup boneless chicken breast cut into 1 inch pieces 2 onions, finely chopped 1 green pepper, chopped 1 cup celery, diced 1 can (28 ounce) tomatoes 3 cups chicken broth 2 teaspoons cajun seasoning 2 teaspoons garlic paste 2 teaspoons dried oregano leaves 1 pound cooked shrimp 1 cup cooked rice
Lightly spray slow cooker with cooking spray
In a non-stick skillet cook sausage and chicken over medium heat until no longer pink
Add onions, green pepper, celery, stirring until softened
Add tomatoes and chicken broth and bring to a boil
Transfer mixture to slow cooker
Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours
Add garlic paste, oregano, shrimp and rice
Cover and cook on high for 20 minutes until heated through
