Baked Onions
Onions (big ones are best) Beef bouillion powder or granules Butter
Peel onions. Stand each onion on a double thickness of aluminum foil (if you are going to grill these) or into a casserole (for baking in the oven).
Put 1 t. of bouillion powder or granules on top of each onion. Top that with a large hunk of butter (about 2 T. for a large onion).
If you are grilling these, seal the foil well, then place on grill and cook, turning occasionally, until onions are soft (it will take about an hour)
If you are baking them in the oven, cover and bake at 350 - 375 deg. for about an hour, or until soft. If you have something else baking, you can adjust the cooking time according to the oven temp.
