Sweet 'N Sour Cabbage
2 medium heads cabbage (white, red, or one of each) bacon grease 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. vinegar (apple cider or white)
Heat grease in large skillet (If you don't have a big enough skillet, you can use a dutch oven or stock pot). Add cabbage and cook until cabbage sizzles.
Stir in brown sugar and vinegar. Cover and simmer until cabbage is tender. Check occasionally and add water if needed.
Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
