I do, too. I thought I'd posted it before, but I couldn't find it. I think I have every recipe on it in print.

I will take a look. I have a make a mix cookbook I like to use. A few months back at a swap meet I was able to buy a bunch of canned tomatoes diced for .15 each or so. I really didn't care about the tomatoes cause some had expired but wanted the glass jars to store mixes in. I have used some but have gotten lazy and I don't have all of them filled.

I wonder if I could alter that recipe by either reducing the salt or leaving it out and using my salt free baking powder? I have boxed pancake mix and baking mix that I bought before Mike had his heart attack, now we really can't use them.

Susan, have you tried that Diamond salt? I think that's what it's called. It's diamond something. Anyway, that's what my mom gets, since my dad has had all his heart problems. She said it tastes better than any of the salt substitute stuff. It might work well in mixes.

I'll have to look at that. He was told at the hospital not to use NuSalt because it's loaded with potassium. He's actually getting used to a lower salt taste. He was such a saltaholic that when he'd cook and season things I sometimes could not eat them because they'd have too much salt in them. He's had to break himself of that and now barely seasons his food with salt or uses spices instead.

I only use half the salt it calls for. I have some stuff, made by Diamond Crystal, called Salt Sense. It has 1/3 less sodium than salt and no potassium.

raggamufin, I use the mix all the time. I keep a bag of it in the fridge. I have half a bag in there now.
