Easy Frozen Yoghurt
I invented this recipe when I had a batch of yoghurt that didn't come out quite thick enough, but it's good with thick yoghurt, too.
1 quart yoghurt (storebought or homemade) 1/2 cup sugar 1 can pie filling (I like cherry, but you can use any kind)
Mix everything together, put in a covered container, and put it in the freezer. Once it starts to freeze along the edges, beat it with a fork, recover container, and put it back in the freezer until it's firm.

I made this today, but added an 8 oz pkg. of really soft cream cheese, a little lemon extract, and a little almond extract. It was terrific! It tasted like a frozen cherry cheesecake. Next time, I'm thinking of swirling some graham cracker crumbs through it, too.

Dan even liked this one - and he can't stand yoghurt. He said it tasted like sherbet.
