Dollywood Cowboy Beans
1 pound ground beef 1 large onion, finely chopped 1 small green bell pepper, finely chopped 28-ounce can pork and beans 1 1/2 cups ketchup 1 teaspoon vinegar 3 tablespoons brown sugar 2 teaspoons prepared mustard 2 teaspoons salt 1 teaspoon pepper
Brown ground beef, onion, and bell pepper in skillet. Transfer to slow cooker. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Mix well. Cover. Cook on low 1 to 2 hours.

This is my baked beans recipe minus the ground beef. I've put shredded pork or chicken from the grill in them too. Yummy eating

It's almost mine, too, but I don't put green pepper in mine, either. The combination was great! I'll have to try them with shredded pork. I'll bet that would be just as good, or maybe better.
