I got this recipe from a waiter at the now-defunct Spaghetti Factory on Woodward Avenue, near Detroit. They served it with little loaves of hot homemade bread. It was my favorite thing there.
Garlic Butter
1/2 cup butter about 1 t. each garlic powder, onion powder, and oregano
Beat butter till fluffy. Add spices and continue beating. The butter should be quite strong-flavored with a bite. If it isn't strong enough, add more spices till it burns your tongue slightly.
