Any of you ladies ever do one? Kinda inspired by the Baltimore Album, but want to do my own patterns. Been wanting to do one simply forever.

Drool is right. There was an amish community east of where we lived in Tn. I visited once a month and the upstairs where the quilts and sewing articles was my favorite place to get lost. They sure are beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

I bought a book about quilting and the underground railroad and it has different blocks in there that were used in quilts back then, so I'm dreaming about making a sampler from that in those colors.

I can't even imagine the hours and hours of work that went into making that! And that's not even counting the years of learning HOW!

can you imagine handpiecing a quilt or apliqueing it by hand and then quilting it.....oh my so many hours that would go in that... I tell you one thing hats off to those pioneer ladies 150 years ago, that didn't have a sewing machine yet.

Thank you. I can't do online tv. I'm on wild blue and they'll choke my bandwidth down to nothing if I start trying to watch tv online.

ohhhh, yeah, I know what you are talking about. My FIL in Montana only has dial-up too... and boy it is rough, when we are there to visit. I don't even wanna get online, cause it is so bad.... LOL. Here in Germany that is all I have to watch quilting shows and TV shows in English...

I love quilting shows, but buying a tv and paying for cable just for that isn't going to happen. I just do not care for the vast majority of the garbage on tv.
