I mentioned this in a different thread, but figured I'd re-post it here in case anyone missed it.
People on Dave's side of the family are very hard to buy for, so I usually wind up making them something. In the past I've given them a bag with a jar of homemade sauce with meatballs, a box of spaghetti, and a loaf of bread. Put it in a gift bag, good to go! They love it.
I don't do that every year, though, so I haven't worn it out yet. Anyway, this year I figured I would include homemade pasta (since I have abundant eggs right now), homemade Italian bread (bake this on Christmas Eve morning, so it's nice and fresh), the jar of sauce, and maybe even some homemade biscotti for dessert, since it's pretty easy to make.
Just thought I'd share in case anyone needs an idea.

OOO I like that idea! I have people who are very hard to shop for and very hard to sew for so this might be better than the bon bons that I hate to make but usually end up making LOL

Gayle also suggested putting recipes in with it, if it's going to people who might be interested in that part. My people wouldn't know what to do with recipes, so they'll just get cooking instructions.
