I made this tonight, but put twice the cream cheese that the recipe calls for. It was delicious and a nice change from regular spaghetti. Spaghetti a la PHILLY1/2 lb. spaghetti, uncooked 1 lb. extra-leanground beef 1 jar (24 oz.)spaghetti sauce 4 oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.)PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, cubed 2 Tbsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese Cook spaghetti as directed on package. Meanwhile, brown meat in large skillet. Stir in sauce and cream cheese; cook on low heat 3 to 5 min. or until sauce is well blended and heated through, stirring frequently. Drain spaghetti. Add to sauce; mix lightly. Place on platter; top with Parmesan. More great Philadelphia Cream Cheese recipes here~ www.kraftbrands.com/philly/Pages/default.aspx

BTW, it says it makes 4 servings, but I think it's more like 6. Only 3 of us ate, but there's a lot left, way more than 1 serving.
I made a pound of noodles and there is less than half of those left. I put a lot of sauce on Ben's and Dan's spaghetti, not so much on mine.
Edited to add: The recipe I posted doesn't say how many servings. The recipe I made, which is the same as I posted, came out of the box and it said it made 4, but, like I said, it was more like 6.

Gayle, did the cheese change the appearance of the sauce much? How it looks is a big deal at our house.

The cheese makes the sauce pink(ish), but I doubled the amount of cheese I added. I'm not sure how much it would change it if you used the amount called for in the recipe.

I'm glad your girls liked it, Gayla. I have some leftover spaghetti sauce from last night. I think I'll add some cream cheese to it for lunch today.
