I have been working on an easy frozen yoghurt. I intended to churn it in the ice cream maker, but it was thick and froze so fast it jammed the machine, so I dumped it in a container and just stuck it in the freezer. It came out nice and creamy. It tastes like frozen cheesecake to me. I think it would be good with a cherry, strawberry, or blueberry sauce over the top.
Super Simple Frozen Yoghurt
1 quart (4 cups) plain yoghurt 3 cups sugar 1 (12 oz.) can of evaporated milk 1/2 cup regular milk, if needed 2 T. vanilla extract
Whisk everything together, except regular milk. If it seems way too thick, add the regular milk (whether you need it or not depends on how thick your yoghurt was to begin with)
Pour into 1/2 gallon container and freeze several hours, until solid.
