Years ago Mom use to can something that had cauliflower and cabbage in it, I believe there was carrots also been trying to find out what it was called,does any one know what I'm talking about?Mom doesn't remember what it was.I know her and Pop ate allot of it.  |

Was it giardiniera? We didnt make it but mama bought it in jars at the store. We love it. I dont remember it having cabbage in it but its one of those things that you can fiddle with. Ours had cauliflower, onions, carrots, sweet peppers and I think celery. It was pickled. Good stuff. I havent had it in a long time. Now you've got me hungry for it. Sometimes we had it with a hot pepper in it.

Interesting maybe there wasn't any cabbage it has been so long about forty years last time we ate it was a teenager.
