Well...maybe not 'plain sight', but I wanted to start a thread where we could share ideas for creative storage, turning preps into furniture, etc. Someone at PH, I think it was GrammyGoo, stacked 5 gallon buckets with lids 2 buckets high along a wall. She had 4 of them, side by side, all along the wall, so that's 8 buckets. There was a board over the top of it, and pretty fabric over that, and it was the 'buffet' in her dining room. I think that is so smart! I can see where you could do a similar sort of coffee table if you're short on space too. Maybe more of an upside down box (so it look like it's just a box of some sort) so that you don't have to fuss with the fabric as much? It could be 4-6 buckets, just one layer high. Also on I Dare You To Eat It, Leisa has some cool ideas - beds on long term storage, tables, etc. They are www.idareyoutoeatit.com/2011/04/end-tables-you-could-eat/ and www.idareyoutoeatit.com/2010/02/wacked-out-food-storage/ and www.idareyoutoeatit.com/2008/10/dont-laugh/I'd love to get other ideas too!

All of my beds are on bins. I got rid of the frames and just set the beds on the bins. I guess I could get fancy and put a bed skirt over them, but that would make it harder to get into them when you needed something.

I used to have several lamp tables made out of trash cans and the circles of wood that comes with those flimsy cheap tables. A long circle table cloth covered the whole thing. You could get fancy and buy the glass circles to go over the cloth. A lot of stuff can be packed in the trash can. Our king size bed in Tn was 2, twin bed size frames made with 2x12's. The space under there was huge and very nice for long term storage stuff.
