My nephew, Josh, (Mary's son) sent me this recipe. I made it yesterday and nobody could get enough of it. It's SO good! I had a slice for breakfast this morning. Philadelphia cream cheese 1 box powdered sugar 3 eggs Combine cake mix, butter, pecans and 1 egg. Mix well and press into greased 9x13 pan. Cream cream cheese, powdered sugar and 2 eggs. Spread over cake and bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes

It's kind of a blondie crust with a slightly chewy cream cheese filling. I served slices of it with strawberries over them tonight, instead of making regular strawberry shortcake.

I know it is, Gayle. I started the same one this week. Feeling very energetic and my appetite for sweets in the evening is practically non-existent. Cake or candy for dessert after breakfast!! MMMMMM

I've noticed that I don't have that mid-afternoon slump. I make it through the whole day without a nap, unless I'm bored and just want to take one. Before, I couldn't stay awake.

I made this cake today using a chocolate cake mix, otherwise following the recipe. Boy, is this good. Kind of fudgy and chewy. I made it in three small pans. I baked 2 and put the third one in the freezer unbaked. I'll let everyone know how it is when I do decide to bake it.
