I love that site! It has some down home cooking recipes. I've tried to find his book online, at a better price, but couldn't find it anywhere other than on his site. I really don't understand how southern cooking became known as soul food. It's the kind of food I grew up on and fix for my own kids. But I love that site, too. I get a lot of inspiration just from reading the recipes there.

I cook the same way raised my children on it ... was raised on it and my DH was too. Soul food is good old food
