www.rocketstoves.com/This is a super cheap, super efficient wood burning stove that you can make yourself. You can cook on the top of the barrel which gets very hot while you have the flames going. The "couch" part warms up and is the "mass" that gives off a steady heat over a long period. It has hardly any smoke while the fire is going. The book gives detailed instructions on building it. I have a copy of the book and plan to make one of these but not in this mobile home. If you live in a mobile, you'd kinda have to have an addition where you could do something like this.

That other link you posted on facebook, Kim, was awesome. The one for the little brick rocket stove. We have to get another air hose for the compressor soon. When we're at Home Depot getting it, I'm getting the bricks to make one of these. I was telling Dave about it and he said, "Man, that would be great to make now and get used to using!" That is exactly what I thought when I saw it!

Get enough bricks to make an additional course, Val. It looked like it smoked pretty bad on the video, and another course will help with that by increasing efficiency.
