I needed to figure out how to use canned beef to make sandwiches. After many suggestions from you wonderful folks, this is what I came up with.
1 pint of canned beef chunks (drained) 1/4 C mayo (preferably homemade) 2 T prepared mustard 2 T A-1 steak sauce (or equivalent) 1 T zucchini relish (or whatever relish you have) 1/2 t. onion powder 1/4 t. cayenne pepper salt & pepper to taste
Mash up the beef in a small bowl. Add everything else. Mix well. It's not exactly gorgeous, but it's tasty.
It gets a little zip from the mustard, A-1, & cayenne. Just a hint of sweet from the relish, but not too much. I could still taste the beef, too.

Tell me what he thinks of it. I made it for Dave, but he can't taste it anyway.

I think I'll make it tonight. I'll let you know tomorrow what he thinks about it.

I just made this and, oh my goodness, is it good! I think Dan will like it. I had Tim taste it and he said, "Tell Valerie 'Good job'".

Dan liked it, too. He said, "I didn't heat it". I told him he wasn't supposed to. Then he said it was good. I asked him if he wanted it again tomorrow and he said 'Yes'. Looks like you've got a winner!
p.s. I had it for breakfast today. Yummy!

Dave didn't care for it because it looked weird and he can't taste. He might get it again anyway.

Would it help if you put it in a roll or on a hamburger bun? Maybe put some lettuce on it.
