Crock Pot Pulled Chicken Sandwiches

1 whole chicken, cut up
1 onion, chopped
1 can of Coke
1/2 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons brown sugar
salt and pepper to taste
Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker or crock-pot over low heat. Stir and let cook for 8 hours. Remove chicken from slow cooker. Remove skin and bones and shred. Serve on buns or rolls
