It didn't have my model of Brother. I bought it brand new not too long ago and have only used it once because I can't understand the instructions for changing the bobbin. It's flat on top of the sewing surface, instead of inside the front of it. I know how to get the old one out, but can't make the new one catch on the needle. It's aggravating.

Maybe yours is too new? They have the manual for my ancient Emdeko.

I have the manual on mine, but the directions are confusing. I really need someone to show me how to do it. I've been sewing for 50 years, but this makes me feel stupid.

Can any of the kids read the manual and figure it out for you?

I had Belinda try it, but she couldn't do it either. I might see if Ben or Tim can. I can get it in the spot where it goes, but can't make the needle catch the bobbin thread. Of course, now I can't get the one that came with it back in, either.

Wonder if the timing is off? I'm trying to figure out how to adjust that on this old machine.

It was working fine until I took out the bobbin and tried to replace it. I don't know how to get the bobbin thread to go where it's supposed to go. Heck, I don't know where it's supposed to go!
