OK, I have another question stemming from those pork butts.
After I take the meat off the bones, I'll have two nice bones left. On Sunday I'll be cooking chicken carcasses down for broth (chickens will be roasting at the same time the pork is, but it's not getting canned).
Could I/should I toss the pork bones in with the chicken bones? Do y'all think it would be OK, or would it make my chicken broth taste funky?

I would make pork broth with them instead and then can/freeze it. I would think mixing it would taste "off".

I mix lots of different bones - pork and chicken, beef and chicken, pork and beef. I think it makes for a richer, more meaty broth.
