Do y'all ever go for a long time without eating something and then all of a sudden want some and then it's like you almost can't get enough of it?
I get that way with fruit sometimes. I'll go for a while (usually in the winter) without eating much fruit and then I'll eat a strawberry or something that will set off a fruit craving and I almost can't get enough!
I'm having it with sprouts right now. Of all things. I got some alfalfa sprouts a week or so ago and would just have cravings, wishing lunchtime would hurry up and come so I could have some on a sandwich! Now I'm working my way through a container of sweet clover sprouts (even better than alfalfa and a little bit crunchier!)
I guess maybe it means my body needs more fruit and veggies. What do y'all think? Do y'all ever get like this?

I do. I seldom want chocolate anymore, but lately I've been craving brownies. I made a batch yesterday and I think I ate about half the pan. I'm trying to be good today, but they're still calling me.

Seems like I've seen charts somewhere that tell you what the craving is actually for. Carbs, oils, water, etc...
I'll crave something and eat pretty much nothing but that for months, then I'm finished with it and move on to something else for months.

I was like that with broccoli most of the winter. Now, don't get me wrong, I like broccoli all the time, but don't usually eat it everyday. I was even eating cold leftover broccoli. I couldn't get enough.

It's kind of weird, ain't it? Good thing we have craving for things like broccoli and sprouts and fruits, rather than cookies or candy right?

Not sure I go without necessarily, but definitely get cravings for increased amounts of whatever...hot peppers are my thing usually, right now it's radishes. As in I am going through a couple pounds a week lately and can't stand myself all day if I run out!

Right now it's asparagus for me. Good thing it's the season for them. I can just go out in the yard and cut some (which I plan on doing later)
