Getting a new dehydrator

I'm not happy at spending the money when the one I had still worked. We have searched everywhere and I really need it. So I decided to invest in another one. Here's what I'm getting:

Wow, they made it square! That should be really nice. Mine is a Nesco American Harvest, but it's round and there's this pesky hole in the middle of every tray!

If your old one doesn't turn up in the next week or so, do yourself a favor and order the pack of extra trays. Four just do not hold much.

It came today. I've already got the tomatoes thawing and will be working on all of that tomorrow. After I grind those tomatoes, I'm going to do like Gayle suggested and dehydrate the skins, then turn them into powder.
Val, mine has the holes in the center of the trays, but they are much smaller than my old dehydrator. It also has a variable temperature control. The old one just had an on/off switch. I still haven't found that old one, but if I do and it's in OK shape it will be my back up.
