Perfect for summer or anytime you want a fast, healthy breakfast. These can be prepared up to 5 days in advance.
I've made blueberry, strawberry, and blackberry so far. Even the guys who say they don't like oatmeal are eating these because they taste like dessert.
Overnight Fruity Breakfast Oats (No-Cook)
¼ cup old-fashioned oats (gluten-free, if necessary) ½ cup plain or vanilla yogurt (regular or Greek) ¼ cup milk (any type - dairy, almond, or whatever you prefer) 2 tsp sugar (or other sweetener, to taste) ¼ cup fresh or frozen berries or diced soft fruit (plus more for topping, if desired)
Add all of the ingredients to a pint mason jar or plastic container with a tight-fitting lid. Stir until thoroughly combined. Top with additional fruit, if using. Cover and chill for 8 hours, or overnight. Serve cold.
Makes 1 generous serving.
