Admittedly, this isn't the easiest thing to mix, especially with a fork, but it works great.
Homemade Brown Sugar
1 Cup of Sugar 2-3 Tablespoons of Molasses
Mix the two ingredients together. Takes about 2 minutes. Use and store like normal brown sugar.
Makes about a cup.

Last night, just as I was falling asleep, I thought of making this with honey, instead of molasses. Of course, it wouldn't make brown sugar, but I wondered what it would taste like, so I tried it this morning. I started out with a cup of sugar and 2 T. of honey. That was too much honey, so I added an extra half cup of sugar. I ended up mixing it with my hands, rubbing it between my palms. It came out pretty good, but what would I use it for? I figure it will be good on oatmeal or to sweeten hot tea. Still thinking of other possibilities.
