Quick and easy recipe for when you need evaporated milk, but don't want to open a can or run to the store.
Homemade Evaporated Milk
1 1/4 cups water 1 c. Dry Powdered Milk
Combine the two ingredients with a whisk until the powdered milk is fully dissolved. That’s it! Now use it in any recipe calling for evaporated milk.
Makes about 1 3/4 cups, a little more than a can's worth. Refrigerate any leftovers.
