Makes 6 cookies.
Divide dough into 6 equal pieces and roll into balls. Place them on the parchament with space to spread.
Bake 8-10 minutes until the edges are set and the top is not shiny anymore.
Let cool.
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1/4 c brown sugar
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 c AP flour
- 2 tbsp baking cocoa
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 c chocolate chips, a mixture of types (sem-sweet, milk chocolate, white chocolate. This is a good way to use up odds and ends.)
- Preheat oven to 400. Line a cookie sheet with parchment.
- Cream butter and sugars
- Beat in egg yolk and vanilla until fluffy
- Beat in dry ingredients (flour, cocoa, baking powder and soda, and salt)
- Stir in chocolate chips
