Carob Fudge Sauce contributed by riverwalk
3 Tbsp. carob powder 3/4 c. water 1/2 c. dates 1 Tbsp. peanut or almond butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1/8 tsp. salt 1 tsp. Postum or other instant coffee substitute
Heat carob powder, water and dates until dates are soft and carob and water become glossy.
Combine this mixture with remaining ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
Store in refrigerator or freezer.
For a Carob Mint Sauce, add 1/4 tsp. peppermint flavoring or 3 drops peppermint oil.
