Zesty Beef Cubes on Noodles contributed by riverwalk
Flour 1-1/2 tsp. salt Dash of pepper 2 lb. beef chuck, cut in 1 in. cubes 1 tbsp. cooking oil 1 cup chopped onions 1 tbsp. beef bouillon 1-1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 3 tbsp. horseradish 1 cup buttermilk 1 8-oz. package noodles, cooked and drained
Combine 1/4 cup flour, salt and pepper. Add beef cubes; mix until well coated. Fry in hot oil in heavy skillet until brown on all sides. Add onions; cook until soft.
Dissolve bouillons in 1/2 cup water. Add bouillon mixture, Worcestershire sauce and horseradish to skillet; mix well. Cover.
Simmer for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until beef is tender.
Stir 2 tbsp. flour into buttermilk; add to beef mixture. Stir until thickened.
Serve over hot noodles.
