Hamburger Soup contributed by riverwalk
1 tbsp. margarine 1 small onion, diced 1/2 green pepper, diced 1/2 lb. hamburger 1 pkg. frozen mixed vegetables 1 can tomato soup 1/2 cup pasta or rice Salt and pepper to taste 1/2 tsp. sugar Dash of Worcestershire sauce
Melt margarine in large saucepan. Add onion and green pepper; sauté for 5 minutes. Add hamburger; cook, stirring, until lightly brown. Add mixed vegetables, soup and 3 soup cans water. Add any diced, leftover vegetables desired; stir in pasta. Season with salt, pepper, sugar and Worcestershire sauce; simmer until vegetables are tender and soup is thick.
