Crockpot Beef Stroganoff contributed by Patricia
This is so simple, yet tastes like you fussed. I usually double, sometimes triple, the recipe. It does freeze well.
1 lb. stew meat, cut into bite-sized pieces pepper and onion powder to taste 1 can golden mushroom soup 1/3 c. water or beef broth 4oz cream cheese, cubed
Mix together in crockpot, the meat, spices, soup and water. Cook on high for 5 hours or low for 8 hours. 15 minutes before serving, add the cream cheese and stir until well blended.
I usually add a can of mushrooms when I add the cream cheese.
Serve over rice, potatoes or noodles.
