1 to 1-1/2 lbs. lean ground beef or just use minute steaks like I do 1 c. dry bread crumbs 1 egg salt & pepper 2 T. minced onion 1/4 c. finely chopped celery
SAUCE:
1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/2 c. beef broth 1 small can mushrooms
Combine meat, bread crumbs, egg, salt & pepper, onion and celery. Shape into medium-sized oblong steak patties. Using a small amount of butter, brown in skillet. Place in casserole dish. Mix the sauce ingredients together and pour over the steaks. Bake at 350F for one hour or until done.
