Swiss Steak in Crock pot contributed by riverwalk
1 1/2 pounds round steak, 3/4 inch thick 2 Tablspoons flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1 medium onion, sliced 1 carrot, chopped 1 small stalk celery, chopped 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
Cut steak into serving pieces, season flour with salt and pepper. dredge meat in flour. Put onion in bottom of crock pot; add meat.Top with carots and celery, and cover with tomato sauce. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours or on high 3-5 hours
