I made this today .
Chili sauce
20 large tomatoes Peeled , seeded and chopped 6 -8 large onions chopped 10 medium green bell pepper, chopped 3 tablespoon salt 2 cups of sugar 2 teaspoons ground ginger 1 teaspoon celery seed 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 cup cider vinegar 1-2 hot pepper ( optional ) I make some with and with out
in a food processor or blender , add all ingredients . pulse to chopped ( not to long it will get mushy . in a large kettle combine all ingredients and bring to boil, then simmer for an hour or more until desired consistency . pour into hot sterilized jars and seal . makes 3 pints .. I use half pint jars.
