Leftover Thanksgiving Turkey Balls
Leftover mashed potatoes Leftover dressing Leftover turkey, diced Flour (for dredging balls) Batter (for dipping) *
Thorougly mix equal parts mashed potatoes, dressing, and turkey. Form into balls about the size of a golf ball. Dredge in flour, dip into batter, and fry until golden brown. Serve with gravy and whatever side dishes you have leftover.
* Batter
You can use this batter or your favorite
1/2 cup self-rising flour (or 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, 1 t. baking powder, and 1/2 t. salt) 1/2 cup cornstarch aprox. 1 cup liquid (milk, seltzer, water, buttermilk, etc)
Mix flour and cornstarch. Add enough liquid to make a thin batter that will still coat your finger.
