1/3 cup plus 1/2 cup picante sauce 4 medium boneless/skinless chicken breasts, trimmed of all visible fat 6 tablespoons cream cheese from a block (softened) 1/2 cup finely shredded Cheddar Cheese
Preheat oven to 350 Spread 1/3 cup of picante sauce in the bottom of a 13" x 9" baking dish. Set aside.
Lay chicken breasts on cutting board , pound chicken breasts to uniform thickness.
Spread chicken evenly with with cream cheese. Lay chicken, cream cheese side up, in a single layer in the prepared baking dish. Spoon the remaining 1/2 cup of picante sauce evenly over the breasts. Cover dish with aluminum foil.
Bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese evenly over the breasts. Bake uncovered, for 15 minutes or until no longer pink. Serve immediately.
