I wasn't even sure I should call this a cake, but didn't know what else to call it. Tammy, my kids' babysitter, made this for the kids once and gave me the 'recipe'. For as simple as it is, it's pretty good.
Graham Cracker Cake
On a plate, lay down a base of graham crackers as big as you want your cake to be. Spread a layer of apple butter on top of graham crackers. Top with more graham crackers, then more apple butter and more graham crackers, as tall as you want your cake to be. 'Frost' top and sides of cake with apple butter, then cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight, so the graham crackers get soft. Cut into pieces and serve cold. You can add a dollop of whipped cream, if you like.

This stuff is really good. I let the kids make it once, but they just made it the size of one graham cracker. I think they used one package of crackers. It is very tasty.

I made one yesterday, but we haven't cut it yet. I made it with cinnamon graham crackers and homemade apple butter. Tim was very interested in it and watched me make it. If he likes it, I'm sure he'll be wanting to make it all the time.
