I made this to use in breakfast parfaits (yoghurt, granola, and syrup, layered in a tall glass), but it would also be good on pancakes, waffles, French toast, or ice cream.
Candy Apple Syrup
2 apples, peeled, cored, and chopped small 2 cups sugar 1 cup water 1 capful of cinnamon oil
In medium saucepan, stir together sugar and water. Stir in apples and bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook until apples are tender and sryup has begun to thicken, about 10-15 minutes. Stir in cinnamon oil and pour into a jar. Store in refrigerator.
