Filling: 4-5 cooking apples, cored, peeled and sliced 1tsp. lemon juice 1/4 c. honey 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 c. water
Topping: 1 c. oatmeal 1/4 c. wheat germ 1/4 c. flour 1/2 c. honey 1/4 c. soft butter
Combine the apples, lemon juice, honey, and cinnamon. Place the apple mixture at the bottom a greased 2-quart casserole dish or an 8-in. baking pan and add the water. Mix the topping ingredients together and sprinkle on top of the apples. Bake in a 350 degree F. oven for 30 minutes. Serve warm with heavy cream or topped with ice cream.
