Chocolate Cream Pie contributed by carla
6 squares Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate 1/2 c. corn syrup 1-1/2 c. heavy cream 1 t. vamilla 1 9" pie crust or graham cracker crust chocolate shavings sliced strawberries
Microwave chocolate, corn syrup and 1/2 c. of the cream in a large microwavable bowl on HIGH 2 minutes. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Stir in vanilla. Cool to room temperature.
Beat the remaining 1 c. cream until soft peaks form. Gently stir into chocolate mixture. Spoon into crust. Refrigerate until firm, about 4 hours. Garnish with additional whipped cream, chocolate shavings and strawberries, if desired.
