I made this the other day and it is so good! We're eating it with corn chips, but it would be good with vegetables, too. I adapted this recipe from one that Paula Deen had on her show.
Southwestern Dip Mix:
1/2 cup dried parsley flakes 1/3 cup dried minced onion 1/3 cup chili powder 1/4 cup dried chives 1/4 cup ground cumin 2 teaspoons salt 1/2 t. garlic powder
In a medium bowl, combine parsley, onion, chili powder, chives, cumin, and salt. Store in airtight container.
Makes about a cup of dry mix.
To prepare
3 tablespoons Dip Mix 1 cup sour cream 1 cup mayonnaise 1/2 t. Worcestershire sauce, optional
In a small bowl, combine dip mix, sour cream, mayonnaise, and Worcestershire sauce, if using. Stir until smooth. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours for flavors to blend. Serve with chips or fresh vegetables.

Seems like it ought to make closer to 2 cups of mix, but I might seeing double since we been doing fractions this week.

It probably does. I didn't measure it, just took a guess. I put it in a container that I don't know how much it holds. It's about 3/4 full, but I already used some of it.
