I made a double batch of this the other day, so there was some leftover. I just spread it on a cold biscuit, because I was feeling a mite peckish, and it was delicious!
Now I'm thinking about other flavors, like pizza (oregano, minced dehydrated tomatoes, minced pepperoni, and minced garlic), strawberry (stir in some strawberry preserves), chocolate (swirl in a little melted chocolate), cherry (stir in cherry pie filling), chocolate cherry... so many flavors, so little time.

I made a batch of this today. I added finely slivered pepperoni (about an ounce), 1/4 t. garlic powder, 1/4 t. onion powder, 1 1/2 t. tomato powder, about 1 t. oregano, and a dash of black pepper. I'm using it as a sandwich spread. It's SO good!!! I'm going to need a lot of self control to keep from eating the entire batch.

When I first posted this, I'd only seen the cooking creme on tv. Our store didn't have it yet. Since I knew how to make it, I never looked at it in the store. I can't believe how expensive it is! It's a LOT cheaper to make it and it only takes about 3 minutes. I paid $1.28 for an 8 oz pkg of cream cheese. The cost of the rest of the ingredients was negligible. Even today, the pepperoni was leftover from the pizzas I made Friday. At the most, it was 50 cents worth.
