Caramels
Melt, in large saucepan:
1 cup butter
Add:
2 cups sugar 1 cup corn syrup 1 can sweetened condensed milk
Cook, stirring constantly, to 240 degrees (firm ball stage).
Stir in:
1 t. vanilla
Pour into buttered 9"x13" pan. Cool 2 to 3 hours. Dump out onto cutting board and cut into desired size pieces. Wrap in waxed paper.

I line my pan with buttered parchment paper. It makes it easier to dump out for cutting.
