Mix together in a small saucepan:
6 oz. juice (any flavor EXCEPT pineapple) 1 pkg. plain gelatin
Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Mix well, until gelatin is completely dissolved. Remove from heat. Add: another 6oz. juice Stir until completely dissolved. Chill until set.
Variations: Make a vegetable gelatin with grated carrots and finely diced celery. OR Add apples, raisins, and nuts. OR Mash overly ripe bananas and blend into gelatin. One can use up excess juice from canned fruits. This is the perfect place to "recycle" some carefully selected leftovers.
